Why does USA Direct use a double opt-in procedure when the MMA recommends a single opt-in procedure for standard-rated services?
Whilst the MMA Code of Best Practices provides an excellent set of guidelines for the provision, the final regulations which must be followed are those demanded by the network operators and some of them insist on a double opt-in procedure.
