What does 'limited' support for delivery reports mean with USA Direct?
Due to most US network carriers departing from industry standards, full delivery reports are only supported by T-Mobile & Verizon. With all other networks, the delivery state of messages that have been delivered to the network carriers is labelled as UNKNOWN as this is the most accurate state which can described them.
Network carriers have promised to implement this (extremely important) feature and as soon as they make it available, we too will make it available to our customers.
However, customer should note that USA Direct is a very reliable messaging route based on direct connections with US network carriers with an exceptionally high rate of message delivery.
Please note that the claim of service providers who claim to provide full delivery reporting for the US should be questioned thoroughly as, in all such cases, their claim of having "delivered" a message will mean that the message has been delivered to the network operator and not the final recipient. We do not follow this methodology as it is inaccurate and misleading.
