Why we don't allow the use of "AOL" email addresses.

During the use of our service, you may find yourself reading an error message which states, "Email addresses hosted by AOL cannot be accepted."

This is because AOL users have a "mark as spam" button conveniently placed next to their trash and quite often the mindset of "anything I don't want is spam" causes legitimate email to be branded as 'spam'.

As AOL has an extremely strict anti-spam policy that causes our server to black-listed as a 'spam server', we do not allow emails to be sent to AOL.

If your one and only email account is hosted by AOL, the only work-around is to to create another email address somewhere else (e.g. Yahoo Mail, Hotmail etc.) and then have your email forwarded from there to your AOL account.
